About
August 26, 2009Hello and thank you for visiting my site!
One could say that I was practically born with a camera in my hand. At the age of four, my Aunt and Uncle came to visit from Great Britain, and were kind enough to bring me a circa 1922 Brownie Box camera. I can still remember the worn leather strap, the sound of the shutter, and the excitement I felt when they gave it to me. The funny thing is, I don’t even think we could get film for a camera of this vintage, but I sure clicked off a lot of shots that never made it onto paper.
At the age of twelve, I started my first job delivering newspapers with the sole purpose of saving up enough money for my first 35mm camera. After saving all of my paychecks for what seemed like forever, I purchased a Canon AE-1, which I still own today. It served me well in my high school photography class, as well as for the yearbook and family vacations.
Growing up in a small town in Northern California, I learned the importance of excellent customer service. My family owned a small bicycle shop with a limited client base. From the age of fifteen, I spent my days after school helping out in the family shop, interacting with the local residents. In this environment, customer service is paramount, since everybody knows each other, and word travels fast. I loved working with our customers back then, and am looking forward to working with you today, and in the future.
Again, thank you for paying me a visit! Please stay awhile, check out my work, and give me a call. I look forward to being your family photographer for many years to come.
